以自然人身份或者通过本人以自然人身份作为控股股东的公司企业，在上海直接投资，连续3年投资情况稳定，投资数额合计达到100万美元以上（国家颁布的《外商投资产业指导项目》鼓励类产业投资合计达到50万美元）的投资者,且遵守中国法律、身体健康、无犯罪记录的，纳税记录良好的，可以申请在华永久居留。

Investors who directly invest in companies or enterprises in Shanghai as natural persons or through themselves as controlling shareholders, with stable investment conditions for three consecutive years and a total investment amount of more than 1 million US dollars (encouraged by the "Foreign Investment Industry Guidance Project" issued by the State), and who comply with Chinese laws, are in good health, have no criminal record, and have a good tax record, can apply for permanent residency in China.
