Focus on 3D technology

The CYBERGLOBE Culture in Action attracted numerous visitors to our booth, with which we were represented at the "FOCUS: Museum" in Brandenburg at the end of April. In the city in the state of the same name, we were able to present our state-of-the-art 3D technology in the special atmosphere of the 700-year-old Pauli Monastery. The past and future of our cultural heritage met seamlessly here.

The participants of the conference were impressed, who took a closer look at the 3D scanner CYBERGLOBE Culture. It can be used to digitize three-dimensional objects gently, seamlessly and in top quality – and quickly and with hardware and software that pack a punch.

If you wanted to get to know this technology even better, you could take part in our workshop during the "FOCUS: Messe". There you could experience how a complete three-dimensional digital copy is created, which looks exactly like the original.

The visitors were particularly impressed by the uncomplicated and comfortable operation. Especially since the CYBERGLOBE Culturecan handle even extensive projects without a large amount of personnel. In times of a shortage of skilled workers, this is a weighty argument. And one that fit the theme of "FOCUS: Museum": "Open your eyes and get through it!". Using synergies, exploiting potential – these were the core issues in Brandenburg.

Overwhelming response

The response to the CYBERGLOBE Culture was absolutely overwhelming and proved how great the interest is in using three-dimensional digital copies for a wide variety of aspects of museum work. The state-of-the-art, sophisticated technology thrilled the audience, and the excellent seamless three-dimensional reproduction of the objects provided aha moments.

The trip to the Havel was therefore a complete success and showed us once again how very uncomplicated scanning systems are in demand, which support the preservation of our cultural heritage quickly and reliably in the highest quality. Just like the CYBERGLOBE Culture.
