Themed "Intoxicating Blossoms Awaiting You in Zhengyang," the 2025 Hengyang Spring Cultural Tourism Promotion Season kicked off at Huashan Village, Kuzongqiao Town on March 9. The 14th Annual Canola Flower Festival of Hengyang County was held simultaneously. Nearly 10,000 visitors flocked to the village to immerse themselves in a sea of golden canola flowers.

Villagers in Huashan Village creatively arranged wheat and canola crops to create a massive "Taiji Diagram" with a diameter of 236 meters, alongside giant text patterns that read "Hometown of Wang Fuzhi—Beautiful Zhengyang Welcomes You." Additionally, innovative agricultural landscapes were cultivated, including a 22-mu (1.47-hectare) wild goose-shaped field design.

The event featured immersive activities such as flower field experiences, agricultural product exhibitions, e-commerce livestreaming, rural food streets, a parade in the canola flower fields, and aerial sightseeing tours. These offerings invited visitors to delight their eyes and savor their taste buds.

In recent years, Hengyang County has vigorously integrated canola flower cultivation with leisure agriculture and rural tourism, extending the industrial chain of the tourism sector. The canola flower has become a "flower of prosperity." In 2024, the county received more than 6.9 million tourist visits, generating a total tourism revenue of 7.196 billion CNY.

The event was co-organized by the Hengyang Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Hengyang Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, and Sports, and the Hengyang County People's Government. It will run until April 3.
