Recently, Phase I of the Sci-Tech Innovation Base at the "City of Chips" in the Nanjing Jiangbei New Area Industrial Technology Research and Innovation Park was successfully energized. With 16.48 kilometers of power lines laid, the power access point now reaches the project’s very doorstep. The project is planned in three phases, and upon full completion, a new high-tech industrial city will rise on the northern bank of the Yangtze River, driving a leap forward in regional industrial development.

In August 2024, upon receiving the official power supply application for Phase I, State Grid Nanjing Power Supply Company immediately formed a dedicated local service team. Taking into account the regional distribution network and the client’s power reliability requirements, the team swiftly developed a "doorstep connection" supply plan. The power line installation was completed within just 45 days.

Currently, Phases II and III of the "City of Chips" project are under intensive preparation. Following the energization of Phase I, the four temporary box-type transformers previously used for early-stage construction were seamlessly relocated to the Phase III site, enabling an uninterrupted transition between the completion of Phase I and the commencement of Phase III. This not only saved significant time in reconfiguring temporary power lines, but also helped the enterprise avoid considerable infrastructure costs.

In recent years, State Grid Nanjing Power Supply Company has remained committed to enhancing power supply reliability and improving the "Ease of Getting Electricity" index. The company has continued to optimize the local business environment. At the end of last year, it launched the "Ning Satisfaction with Electricity" initiative featuring ten service measures to further support Nanjing’s efforts to become a benchmark city for business climate. Building on this momentum, in 2025, the company will focus on the core task of "building a first-class business environment with first-class work ethic and improving service efficiency for enterprises and citizens." With goals of streamlining power application procedures, ensuring more reliable power connections, and enriching service content, the company has launched the "Electric Engine" special action to support major project development. This initiative aims to further refine and implement service measures for the business environment, offering high-quality, full life-cycle power services for key projects and continuously contributing to Nanjing’s economic growth.

As of the end of 2024, State Grid Nanjing Power Supply Company had completed “doorstep connection” demonstration zones in 13 provincial-level and above industrial parks, with a completion rate exceeding 75%. In 2025, the company plans to achieve full coverage of such services across all provincial-level and above parks citywide.
