(一)企业韧性的内涵(The connotation of enterprise resilience)

This section introduces the connotation of enterprise resilience. Although the research on enterprise organizational resilience is gradually increasing, the definition has not yet been unified and is usually regarded as a broad concept covering a variety of phenomena. Existing research mainly revolves around three perspectives: first, the ability of enterprises to resist or resume normal operations in a crisis; second, the ability of enterprises to improve their ability to cope with future challenges by optimizing resources and strategies; and third, the ability of enterprises to enhance their ability to respond to emergencies through advance planning. In general, enterprise organizational resilience can be defined as the ability to quickly adapt to changes, reduce losses and maintain operations in the face of unexpected adverse events.
(二)企业韧性的测量(Measuring corporate resilience)
本节介绍了企业组织韧性的测量方法主要分为直接测量和间接测量。直接测量法通过问卷调查评估企业在危机下的适应、恢复和情境感知能力,而间接测量法利用公开数据,如财务和绩效指标,评估企业的长期和短期韧性。长期韧性关注企业在持续压力下的稳定性,而短期韧性则衡量企业面对突发冲击的恢复能力。本文以新冠疫情为背景,采用短期韧性测量,结合股票下跌幅度与存货周转率,以更全面反映企业在突发事件下的韧性能力。
This section introduces the measurement methods of corporate organizational resilience, which are mainly divided into direct measurement and indirect measurement. The direct measurement method evaluates the company's ability to adapt, recover and perceive situations in a crisis through questionnaires, while the indirect measurement method uses public data, such as financial and performance indicators, to evaluate the company's long-term and short-term resilience. Long-term resilience focuses on the stability of the company under sustained pressure, while short-term resilience measures the company's ability to recover from sudden shocks. This article uses the COVID-19 pandemic as the background, uses short-term resilience measurement, and combines the stock decline with inventory turnover to more comprehensively reflect the company's resilience in emergencies.
(三)企业韧性的影响因素(Factors affecting enterprise resilience)
本节提到现有研究主要从企业内部视角探讨企业韧性的影响因素,如企业文化、领导力、人力资本等,较少关注外部环境,尤其是供应链网络的作用。然而,供应链网络特征已被证明会影响企业行为和绩效,但其对企业韧性的影响尚缺乏研究。为填补这一空白,本研究拟构建五级供应链网络,探讨供应链网络结构特征如何影响企业韧性。由于企业韧性受多种网络特征相互作用影响,本研究采用模糊集定性比较分析(fsQCA)方法,从组态视角探究不同网络特征组合如何提升企业韧性,并寻找提升路径。
This section mentions that existing research mainly explores the influencing factors of enterprise resilience from the perspective of the enterprise, such as corporate culture, leadership, human capital, etc., and pays less attention to the external environment, especially the role of the supply chain network. However, supply chain network characteristics have been proven to affect corporate behavior and performance, but their impact on corporate resilience is still lacking. To fill this gap, this study intends to construct a five-level supply chain network to explore how the structural characteristics of the supply chain network affect corporate resilience. Since corporate resilience is affected by the interaction of multiple network characteristics, this study uses the fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) method to explore how different combinations of network characteristics can improve corporate resilience from a configuration perspective and find improvement paths.

Direct measurement is to directly obtain the characteristics or behavioral data of the research object through questionnaire surveys, interviews or experiments. For example, in the study of corporate resilience, scholars often use questionnaire scales to measure key dimensions such as corporate adaptability and recovery ability, such as employee questionnaires and manager interviews.
间接测量法则是通过分析客观数据或公开数据来衡量研究对象的特征,而非直接询问或观察。例如,在企业韧性研究中,学者们可能通过企业的财务数据、股价波动、存货周转率等指标来衡量企业的韧性能力。这种方法适用于难以通过主观调查直接量化的概念。
Indirect measurement is to measure the characteristics of the research object by analyzing objective or public data, rather than directly asking or observing. For example, in the study of corporate resilience, scholars may measure the resilience of enterprises through indicators such as financial data, stock price fluctuations, and inventory turnover. This method is suitable for concepts that are difficult to directly quantify through subjective surveys.
两种方法各有优劣,直接测量法能更精准地捕捉个体或组织的主观特征,而间接测量法则依赖客观数据,避免了主观偏差,适用于长期趋势分析。
Both methods have their own advantages and disadvantages. Direct measurement can more accurately capture the subjective characteristics of individuals or organizations, while indirect measurement relies on objective data, avoids subjective bias, and is suitable for long-term trend analysis.
